Torn Intel is a faction intelligence platform for the browser game Torn City. It tracks member activity, personal stats, ranked wars, company performance and foreign stock, and publishes free guides on the parts of the game that are hardest to work out on your own.
It is built and run by one player in his spare time, not by a company. Torn Intel is a player-made tool and is not affiliated with Torn.com.
Torn Intel is built and run by Thomas, known in game as JESUUS [2353554]. He has worked as a developer for eight years and builds Torn Intel in his spare time, with the aim of giving the community the best faction-tracking tool available.
Everything here comes from the same person, the tracker, the background workers that collect data, and the guides. That is why the guides lean on actual game mechanics and measured numbers rather than generic advice.
Running the app is not free: servers, databases, and a lot of coding hours. Torn Intel is free to use, and the optional Pro tier and donations go straight back into it, a faster server, more features, and a smoother experience for everyone.
There are currently 17 guides on Torn Intel. They are written from three kinds of source, and each guide says which apply:
Torn rebalances regularly, so exact percentages are estimates rather than fixed values. Every guide carries a note saying so. If you find a number that no longer matches the game, tell us and it gets corrected.
Each guide shows the date it was last updated. When Torn changes a mechanic, the affected guide is revised and that date moves, it is not regenerated automatically on every deploy, so it reflects a real editorial change. Product changes are listed on the What’s New page.
